Running

I travel lots and took up running outside of the hotels I stay at and near home again. Nothing too major, but somewhere around 3.5-6.0 miles per run.

I love it. 30-50 minutes and then heading to the shower.

No special gear. Just shoes, shirt, shorts and earbuds, means I'm not tied to crummy gyms in hotels.

I'm addicted, I think. Not riding my bicycle enough, though.

It's hard to get into, but once you get over that hump it's glorious. And you're right - it's not at all equipment-intensive.

In reality though, this is why I run.

Ha! That was pretty good. Me? My running started as a way to help drop some weight, which it did. Portion control and running keep it off. But I could do any exercise. Running just feels so stripped down and pure. And it's over in less than an hour.
