Nitron makes a DL650 specific shock but it is not in their adventure series which have larger diameter shafts, larger bodies, external reservoirs, etc.
Ah, good stuff! I'm happy for you and glad it wasn't a D'oh!

I did a fair amount of research before dropping the coin on it.

My neighbor said a package of mine is at her house. Unfortunately 9:30 was too late to pick it up (who goes to bed at 9:30?)

So hopefully it is my shock and I will be picking up/installing it tonight.

So if I just got an email today saying: "item sent", and your post shows an NC700X shock, with: "these orders being shipped today" does that mean the NC700X shock in the Oct. 28th post with: "these orders shipped today" was somebody else's, or....?

No big deal, just curious.

Well I'm away at military training but I had my shock shipped 30 miles away to a relatives. It arrived today and I rode out to get it.

When I got home, I unboxed it and buried in the packing peanuts was a well packaged sho k. I unwrapped it to find a work of art. No pics yet, I'm tired, but this thing is almost too nice to mount. I opted for the Adventure series track model. I can't wait to test it. It will be mounted Friday and by Sunday it will have 300 miles of the most aggressive terrain a vstrom should be taken on. Pics and report to follow.

Thanks Pat!
We believe that the Nitron shocks performance is as good or better than Ohlins, are better built than any other shock on the market, and they are at a lower price point (Especially the ADV Series with the new 16mm rod & 46mm body compared to TT)

Orders for Mark(R1150R) and Wayne(Fj1300) will be shipping next week!
