Still on day 2

Realize I don't take too many pics of the good (hard) stuff, usually it's at a breather spot waiting for the boys to clean something or catch up....but it seems like I got a lot of pics this trip

back to whangdoodle!

and pop out up here;

to go down there

bunch of dirt diggers;

some of the boys had to leave so we headed back home....

oh wait, one more trail close to camp - this was the only picture because it was wet dirt under the trees pinned in 3rd gear climbing laughing in the helmet stuff

hmmm, stick in the mud?

Love "the good stuff" video. Trail riding at it's best with some challenging parts. Why do all the rocks show up on the steep drop off on one side, side hill portions? giggle One bounce off a rock and off you go!

Love the photo's too. The depressing part, which I'm glad you show, is the fire damage. Still beautiful, but would be even prettiers with tree's intact.

Burgdorf? All the times I've driven by, not once has it seemed open. Un-inviting even. Probably just my twisted impression.

Great thread, just lov'in it!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm afraid with all the big bike riders on adhd no one would care....

It's amazing there's anything left to burn up there, seems like we end up dodging fires every year.

The hot water people were real nice the first time, had a little attitude the next time on our way out (because we had bikes loaded in the trucks?).

We wanted to go down the creek, the map showed a trail.....
What's on the map isn't always on the ground, that would become a familiar theme to finish this day, so up we went

up and under;

supposed to go north to another trail but it wasn't there either

these were softball size

we couldn't find another trail we needed so we settled for this climb which should take us to the trail we needed to make the loop.....

moving on, got to find that trail out of here before the sun sets

we looked around, no sign of a trail going the way it should..........
guess we have to go back the way we came, maybe take the double black diamond Man Hill trail down, if we can find it (hey-it's on the map!) and it's not blocked by trees?

heading back;
