iOS 7.0.2 just installed. Nothing in the update mentions the battery, but we'll see if there is any improvement.

I hadn't really kept track as I have a Mophie Juicepack, but the last couple of days I have.

Before the update I would get home from work and be at anywhere from 20-30% battery left. After the update and turning off most of the background app refresh stuff.........about 20-30%. No real increase in battery use for me, anyway.

I just spent a little while researching (google) on how to roll back my Iphone 4 back to iOS6, I have found that it's impossible. dang.

Oh, I have no battery issues mentioned above, just dont care for the new iOS7. iOS7 is obviously a change just for change sake, marketing dept driven.

Other than the battery issue, I like it a lot. The look took a while to get used to, but overall it feels quicker and has more refined features.

I had some battery issues, I just turned the update stuff off, we will have to see how that works.
Ios7 has a steep learning curve but I am beginning to like it. The tool bar at the bottom is handy. Swipe right to left to delete is more intuitive for me.

Before you could do this see which apps were running then x (turn them off) which appears to be No longer available.

Is there a new way to turn them off?

THANKS,

Swipe upwards.

Also, in Safari, you can now swipe left to right to go back.

After turning off the updates, I have gone over 12 hours off of the charger and am at 84%. It was a weekend day and I hardly used my phone compared to a work day. The test will be Monday. This past week, after 10 hours or so off the charger, I would be below 20%. Before IOS7, I would only be down to 40 or 50%.

I just updated and while it's too early to comment on battery life, I have a couple of observations.

It seems very laggy opening apps, I'm constantly tapping them twice since they don't open immediately as they used to.

Another thing I've noticed, with a photo open you used to be able to share it with Facebook, or text or email it etc.. It seems like that option is gone now. Unless I'm missing something which is entirely possible. Now if I want to text someone a picture for instance I have to open the messages app and find the photo to send it. I'm finding this frustrating.

+1. It's the only thing I like about IOS 7 though!

New 5s, full charge Friday at 4pm. Currently it's at 65% charged. Not bad after 40+ hours.

Was charging my 4 every night at the end.

It's still there.
Select the photo.
Tap the little box with an arrow in the bottom left corner.
You'll see the photo selected with a little check mark on it.
Hit NEXT in the top right corner.
Your options to email, twitbook, or whatever will pop up.
