I'd say the guy on the bike that was in the rear was at fault. The guy in the front turning right wasn't exactly a genius, but if you aren't sure which way somebody is going to turn, it never hurts to give them a little beep of the horn so they know you're there.

Both at fault,

Guy on the DR apparently didn't look before executing his U-turn and you weren't riding defensivly enough to anticipate him doing something so stupid. You probably should have been slowing in anticipation...
Nobodies pefect, glad the end result wasn't worse.
