That got really deep, really fast. He's lucky he was able to get out of the current, it looked like there were plenty of things in the river to get snagged on and then drowned.

Too wide, too shallow and moving too fast. I;m a risk taker and I would have turned around on that one.

Man, that was some fast water to try to ride through... I'm pretty cautious, I guess, but if I can't see the bottom or if it's visibly moving fast, I don't risk it, or I walk it first. Man, that would suck to lose a bike like that...

Don't tell them anything, they'll cancel your policy on account of being a retard. Buy a new bike and pretend you were just tired of the last one.

People make mistakes
That's why you have insurance
How quick we are to judge
Crossed a river last week
Looked about the same
Very slippery bottom
Started running on one cylinder
Made it
Next bloke didn't
Needed help
That's just the way life is.
Cheers
He made a error
Poor bloke
But he lived through it
What a adventure to tell the gran kids
When they are wrapped in cotton wool

I would have gone for it too, didn't look too bad.

Maybe the guy knew the area and felt it's no biggie.

Really hard to tell from the camera. It looked like a whole lot of water though.

That's what I was thinking too, it looked fast but didn't seem deep enough to really be a problem, and it was shallow, at least at first... Unfortunately for him and his bike, it got deep.
