Hard sell considering you can get Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini for those prices. However, for someone who desperately wants a close to 4000lb American built custom car, this might be it.

I'd rather have a Camaro. Or a Mustang. Or one of each. shit, for that price through an old Charger in the garage too.

I think it would be more fun to build on yourself and spend 5 times less money....

For that money, you could have a 1970 Boss 302, a 1969 Camaro SS with a 396 and 4 speed, and a Hemi Cuda or Charger Challenger and probably have money left over to actually drive them.

Wow, really? This will only sell to the high-testosterone, low-information crowd. Professional athletes and music millionaires, most likely.

You could get an 800HP Lingenfelter Corvette LS7 for half that. And yeah, if you're spending $250k or up, that gets you into Ferrari territory.

Think of it this way though. Bieber, Kardassian and their ilk show up in the Bentley's, Ferrari's, and Aston's. What better way to make sure you get photographed by the paparazzi then show up in some bitchin old iron, then the folks that know what they are looking at get all hot and bothered and you get the rep as being cooler than the cool.

It's not what you can get for $250,000 it's how exclusive can you be for the $250,000. If they gave a shit they could spend 59 grand on a Hyundai Equus and donate the rest to whatever charity floats their boat.

IMO, with few exceptions, if a person spends $250K on a car that isn't for professional purposes (racing, limo service, etc.) should only spend that kind of money if it wouldn't put even a slight dent in their wallet - in which case who cares whether you can buy a Ferrari for that money? They would go out and get the Ferrari too, and a McClaren, and a Lambo, and ten other cars and motorcycles and yachts and still have plenty left over for multi-million dollar estates.

If you don't have that kind of money then you probably don't have any business buying a $250K car and the issue of cost is academic.

If I had the kind of funds to buy such a car I would already have a nicer Porsche, etc., and yes I might buy the Equus just because it is cool.

You can see more of the car here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3WUagUpjTw

As nice as it is, it just doesn't pass the "I want one at any cost" test.

Oh.. and why another prancing horse logo...

That video was crap (public access television meets cheesy soap opera), so I googled the company. The car looks interesting, but the info makes me think they're selling to the DG crowd. Where are the numbers? You can't mention the engine and not mention the HP. If it's really about the 60's and 70's muscle cars, then you gotta give numbers! HP, 0-60, 1/4 mile!

Anyway, once the Bieber buys one, then all the other blinged out assholes will have one.

Nothing about that car warrants $250k.

I could build my Celica Supra with more power and better handling for less than 1/4 of that price tag.

Imagine that, an 80's import smoking that sumbish.

I always wanted one of those as a kid and I kept my desire for one as an adult, but from what I have read and seen the implementation is problematic and you had better have plenty of money after buying one to fix the problems.
