Cody Webb Tops EnduroCross Podium

Good news for Cody. Bad news for Trials?
He may have made more money riding Endurocross this year than he would in an entire Trials career.

Great news! Trials riders tend to bring big skills advantages to riding the 'refrigerator' machines.

I'm sure Cody, after abusing his body for a while or smacking into something hard, will be back on his first love as so many of us have done

... or he'll just do both?

Watch the most amazing race track yet! Geoff Arron led the 1st half of the race, all the Ktm riders were stuck numerous times on those big fat pigs!

Will Cody be on an orange bike next year? I hope he gets his payday, but can stay on the Beta as well. (Redbull/Stillwell Factory Beta?) He dominates the technical tracks - lets hope they keep the track that way.

3 wins out of the last 4 races to finish the season has to feel good.

Good to see Endurocross going back to it's roots, a tight, technical, extremely difficult track. Some of the tracks this season were hard to distinguish from an Supercross track.

Looked at the video (thank you), then chased down others. Webb is doing very well indeed!

I saw his pretty blue-rim Beta was a 2 stroke. Investigated and found Beta has once again produced their own engine design AND manufacture, this time a 2 stroke. The 4 strokes they came up with after fitting KTM RFS motors are a work of art. Die cast cases (as one example) mean a big investment in tooling. These guys are serious.

I've been very impressed with what Beta has done for years now, and I hope Webb sticks with them. Too many orange bikes out there

Not that I have anything against the orange bikes, but for years it felt like the only viable option. Now that companies like Beta and Gas Gas are coming out with some really great stuff as of late there is hope.

You don't have to buy a KTM if you want to be different, you can buy a Husqvarna now!

I just watched Moto 5, The Movie and it is worth it just to see Webb riding around Moab! Good lord, he can do stuff on that dirt bike that we can only dream of doing on a trials bike. They are doing some similar stuff as the Red Bull Rampage, if you are familiar with that.

True, lots of other great bikes out there... and more are coming and with the in-between options available now it won't be to long before I pick something up.

PS. Guess I will have to check out that movie! Always love a good bike flick.

It not as good as some of the previous ones. Cody has been in several and I think Moto 3 had some good footage of him.

This one has lots of guys jumping MX bikes farther than I can hit a 9 iron!

Cody has definitely paid his dues over the years and is very deserving of everything coming his way. My son and I competed Trials up to several years back and had the honor of being in the company of Cody, his father and mother and sisters. I've spent many an hour in the pits watching and helping Kip wrench on his bike or watching him mentor his son. This young man has paid his dues and worked very diligently to get where he is today. Very grounded young man with a wonderful family that has been there along with a network of folks that saw promise in a deserving prodigy. If you have the chance to make the acquaintance of this young man, your life will be forever changed. Perfect example of hard work equating success.
