The bike is pretty and sounds good yes it's powerfull as well but for what ? If you want a track bike just buy a track bike , if you want to do stunts then you need to be rich because I am sure it will be an expensive bike for just doing stunt shows.

Normally a lot of people use street bikes( naked bikes) for commuting and weekends fun I am not sure with the price tag will it worth to buy the bike. I am sure it will be over 14000£.

And you have got also better options

Triumph
Suzuki
Ducati
Agusta
Those options are not a KTM. A Triumph does not ride like the other brands you mentioned, a Suzuki is not the same as the other brands you mentioned, etc....Just like a VW, Opel, Dodge,... are not the same.

Everything with to much power is pointless, but people that have the cash and want to experience the thrill pay up and have their fun with it.
Just like people do with expensive performance cars that are nothing more then moneypits. It's pointless to you but not to the people that want to dump the money in it to have fun.

You sir, are the most narrow-minded biker i have ever met in the digital or real life. You seem to lack the ability of any perspective and apathy towards other people and their intrests.

Everything is pointless...why buy a Bugatti or pay £1,000,000 for an oil painting why not live on bread and water and live in a cave...life is not a rehearsal its a one shot deal.........If I was younger I would have 2..one to ride and one to have in the lounge just to look at

Pointless having 2 ...go for 7... one for each day of the week

By my calculations that is 1260 hp ... not a bad start

Prices are up on the KTM website, 15.498euro listed for the Belgians.

If my drivers licence was tatooed on my body i'd buy one instantly, but since it's a loose piece of paper that they can take from me i'm passing on this beast.
Couldn't stay calm on the old superduke R, no way in hell i can maintain myself on this monster.

I have been very lucky and got to help break in my dealers demo model at our local race track. While keeping the bike below 7k rpm i can report the bike does over 200kmph in 6th, handles amazingly wel on track for a totally stock bike and is far, far easier to ride than a 180hp bike has any right to be. I turned off the traction control because it totally neuters the bike, and is much more fun to ride without it (on a dry track). Bike wheelies easily (remember I was keeping it under 7k rpm!) and with the TC turned off you need to be very aware of the throttle, but it never feels threatening (under 7k rpm). I handed the bike over to another guy (the dealer asked us both to help him break in the bike) and let him know the TC was turned off so to be careful and he promtly flipped the bike while wheelying off done the straight. Very unfortunate.

Good news is this guy worked for a neighbouring KTM dealer who then let us use thier demo bike up at Sepang in Malaysia. This bike was already broken in so we used it on a demo day and I was helping out...this bike is so much fun it is ridiculous! It is so easy to ride...it will tootle along with out a worry but when you wick it up it is nuts. I found the sport setting a bit too peaky...a total kick in the pants, but I prefer the street setting as you can control it easier.

Anyway, just totally stoked I got to ride this bike on two race tracks (so far ) and would have one for sure if I had not just bought the 1190 Adv R! I need to win the lottery!
