Fastenal In Bedford Hills on Adams Street has bins you can pick out of or I gave him a list of bolts for this project and everything comes in separate bags.

I was dying to bring it outside today so cleaned all the snow off the driveway and let the sun hit it for awhile, took care of some honeydoo stuff for Sister Mary Margaret and then I just had too....

Bike started right up and sounded great, one of the reasons I put the wrap on was to keep it quiet which I don't think it needs. The red was burning off right away anyway...we'll see.

Clutch was slipping a bit and I kind of knew I should have replaced it so will do that now. I ran it through a couple heat cycles and it fired up easily each time, seems to have a bit of pep but tough to tell now.

Bunch of adjustments and finalizing some things but all in all very happy with everything!

The bike looks great, really terrific! It's sure to be a hit at the VMX races!

I have really enjoyed following your build through this long cold winter so thanks very much for posting it.

Now I'm looking forward to the ride report!

I ordered the clutch which should be in this week so will try and change it this weekend and then be able to see how it runs? Weather is supposed to improve here as well.

Excellent work! I love the old vintage dirt bikes from my youth and always lusted over the HLs! You rock!

I would take the pipe wrap off though .

Yea, I am on the fence with the pipe wrap as well. It also lost half it's color from the first run so looks worse if anything....we'll see.

I had to take a break on finishing bike because I have to get another project taken care of, weather has me way behind on a building like this.
The one I am doing is this wide but twice as long, went to see this one for a general idea of the details.

Building is coming on March 3rd and I just started foundation, been working everyday with the good weather we have had.

Polar vertex is coming back this week....I'm in trouble
