Stolen PNW Motorcyles formerly Stolen Husky

I left for work on Monday (Oct. 28th) and my 2008 Husky SM610 was safely locked in front of my car. (Hardened boron steel chain with kryptonite lock) When I got home at 6:00pm it was gone.

I know there's almost no chance I'll get it back, but if there's any chance at all even if its damaged I need to try.

The bike was stolen from Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.

Description: Red / White, with white touratech handgaurds and leo vince muffler. The last four digits of the license plate are 3884.

If you see the bike please call Seattle PD (incident number 13-391858) and PM me.

Beer's on me if we can find the husky.

Very low Luo Ba

PS: VIN number ZKHAFEKP18V401160 License:5A3884

Damn... Very sorry to hear. The fact that there's not many of these around may help. Scour Craigslist, etc. up and down the west coast.

Others are going to suggest this, but social media has a way of getting things returned to people, if you're on the book of faces and can ask your friends to share.

That is complete shit, super sorry to hear that. I'm in Seattle, and will keep an eye for it. On an optimistic note, let me share the following: My friend in Denver had his 610 stolen some time back, and just a few days ago, posted this on facebook:

"So the TE610 was recovered friday with someone riding it. Waiting on details on that from the CSP. Meanwhile I retrieved it from impound in...... Pueblo!?! It's been stripped down to basics and looked like it was just a bare unplated dirtbike. Amazed that the rider didn't pull a runner....... And the upside? It does run. A little worse for wear, but the core is all there. yay."
....
"I've got it and the insco is going to come inspect it tomorrow. I think it was pulled over for no plate/tail lights on a public road...... so they ran the VIN and it popped."

I hope you are, at the minimum, as lucky as my friend. If I see any 610s around, I'll be sure to give the rider a good probing...

Should be legal to just take a bat and club 'em off your bike. F'n thieves.... I lost four motorcycles in one night, years ago. F'n thieves.

Damn, that sucks. By any chance did you have a kryptonite chain as well as lock? I know they used to advertise they had some kind of benefit if your bike was stolen while using their products to protect them.
Hopefully it gets found. Pics?

610's are a fairly rare bike. I'll keep my eyes pealed in Skagit for your bike. Sorry man.

Thanks everyone for the good suggestions.

WB, I found a Seattle stolen bike page on facebook, I'll try posting there.

Calling the Husky shop in Everett is a good idea as well. Thanks for the heads up on the spot tracker, I need to follow up on that.

I also have a F800GS which was parked next to the Husky and doesn't appear to be touched. I'm moving that to a temporary indoor location until I can sort out the next step.

I'll try to post some pics of the lock and chain as well as some of the bike.

Thanks for all the replies. I do feel much better knowing there are people out there keeping an eye out.

Robert

Watch Ebay for parts. There's a guy here in Battle Ground that's been selling Husky parts on Ebay for several weeks, so they're not yours but I'll be curious if any parts show up there or CL.
