Thumb Airoh Evergreen

So I am a trials noob, but I am already starting to accumulate a startling amount of equipment. I bought a Trials helmet (a WLF) that helped me see a lot better in sections, but was too round for my bullet shaped head .
It would literally give me a headache after an hour or two. I tried modding it by mushing down some of the foam in the front, but still not good. I took a leap of faith and ordered an Airoh Evergreen. Their upper end helmet is supposed to be a more elongated fit, but no one gives the old guy that much birthday money . I got it this week and trying it on , success. It is still a little snug, but I think as the foam gets used to my noggin it will be awesome.
I remember there being a fair amount of questions about helmets that fit an elongated head, but could not find anything about this particular helmet so I thought I wold share. plus it doesn't make my head look fat

A good friend will take you trail riding, an ADV friend will double back and say, "how did you get down there?"

Oh boy...new plastic on the bike and a new lid . Are you trying to crash?!

Better ride real slow with your feet on the ground at all times this weekend!

^^^^^^^^
Helmet is an XL, cause my head really is fat, and WLF is a brand of helmet that i got from the Tryals Shop, maybe a brand he imported? It was pretty inexpensive.

Good to know. I bought a XXL NAU helmet this year to fit my long oval melon. It's the best fitting Trials helmet i've ever had. A bit too warm in hot weather though.

Looks good. Looks like it sits lower than mine. I got the more $$ Airoh. Forgot what it's called... Agreed it fits a more oval head. I got a XL and thought it was too tight so I ordered a 2XL liner. Very small difference. I think if I had just wore the XL a few rides it would have broke in fine..

Does the Evergreen have the quick release chin strap?

Yes it does have the quick release, and it is one of the things I like about it so far. I also think it's pretty good looking, but I'll scuff it all up this weekend

Cool, more pointy head options. For now my Hebo fits my oblong melon real good. Just not many options for us who's heads are not shaped like a bowling ball.
