NO, I do not think women are weaklings who need me to stand up for them. However, all it takes for wrong to triumph is for good people to stand back and do nothing.

Good fun is one thing. The stuff on this thread goes way beyond that.

By the way, it didn't take any liquor for me to get my courage up.
Well said.

Not all, but a disturbingly high number are rapists and sexual assaulters.

As the father of a young woman, I have no tolerance for this crap. And, while I realize many men do not have daughters to interfere with their poor view of women, and probably don't have an intelligent, self confident spouse, they do all have mothers. Do they all really have such little respect for their mothers too?

Well, I hope you punished your daughter like it was a hate crime whenever she said "boys are dumb." Equality and all that

While I don't agree with the OP, I can take things with a grain of salt.

+1.

Seriously, where did all these leaky PC cunts come from all of a sudden? On advrider, of all places. Like termites crawling out of the woodwork.

However, your reply (along with a few drinks tonight) has inspired me.

To the OP: Woman are not motorcycles or any other objects you fucking dolt. They are people who want to live and ride just like you.

If you made the mistake of being involved with some human that wants to involve themselves in drama more than riding then that's your own god damn fault. The irony here is that the very fact that you posted about said drama leads me to believe you are involved, just as deeply, in the same.

As a father of a daughter, I intend to teach my daughter to be a confident, competent motorcyclist and to avoid people like you at all costs.

My daughter is not a thing, but sadly I will have to teach my daughter that idiots like you will try to make her just that.....nothing more than an object. An object of scorn at that.

So OP, pretty much...

Why would I do that? That's idiotic.

Besides, my daughter is the perfect example of a young human being and needs no correction, ever.

In my jurisdiction, one in three young women is sexually assaulted before they've graduated high school. Damn right I have no tolerance for this bullshit.

Motorcycles are like women because:

- Once you have seen one naked... you want to see them all naked.
- Older is sometimes more attractive than younger.
- They must be treated with respect or they can hurt or kill you.
- I like to ride them.
- Loud and unstable can be fun for short while, but more subdued and consistent wins out in the long run.
- They require regular maintenance and the high maintenance model is not generally more fun.
- I have no rational explanation why I like them, but do.
- Life would be simpler in some ways without them, but less fun.
- Both can take you places that you have never been and happy you are with them.
- Women on motorcycles can be a confusing competition for attention.

Edit: I think this thread belongs in "Jo momma" due to subject matter.

I like to make jokes about women and enjoy the ones others make. But, there are lines that shouldn't be crossed. Incidentally, women are no less disrespectful about men. They cross the line sometimes as well.

We all need to learn to laugh at ourselves a bit. Some of the sexist jokes on both sides are pretty funny.

On the other hand, I have no patience at all for sexual assault. Anyone who does that is despicable. I also have no patience for women who falsely accuse men of such actions. That can be just as damaging. The problem is sometimes it's hard to tell which is telling the truth. Think about the Jameis Winston situation. Somebody is a victim and somebody is an evil predator. I have no idea which is which.
