Holan

Installed the Holan panniers. Very nice set, excellent quality workmanship only thing the rack didn't fit properly. Both sides weren't lining up properly the footrests and needed some mallet persuasion and then fit all screw loosely and tightening them all at the same time..wrote to Holan about this but no reply...

What is the black double box thing on the bottom? Possibly for tools and dirty things?

I have the optional KTM hard aluminium cases from touratech on my R.

The Conti trail attacks have good grip, and even with the rear suspension preload wound up hard, the panniers are touching down when cornering hard through smooth corners. Worse of course with mid corner bumps.

I think they're too wide.

Corsica, is that screen the touring screen from KTM's power parts?
I didn't know they had a tinted version available ... When riding do you actually see over or through the screen?
Nice bike by the way!

Yes I thought it would be clear as well but it was not and I'm happy:) looks much better.

Those boxes look really good on the R. Where did you get them from?

Corsica, do you have a pic of the right side of the bike with the rack only? I'm wondering about aesthetics of the rack on this bike. In an ideal world i want the slim fit of the Holan panniers combined with a rack that can easily be removed like the sw motech quick lock.

Straight from the Holan website, I guess shipped from their Hq. Contacted them, paid by PP and had them in about 2 weeks. Shipping was quite slow but not too expensive.
