I'm so glad he got what looks like a decent ride, and he's Always been such a stand up guy.
5 years of Ducati and he never slagged them.
I'm not a big twitter person but do follow NH69 and so many of his posts and picks are related to doing stuff with his family. It seems that in between flying around the world he almost never misses a family members wedding, graduation, or baptism.
IN ..looking forward to 2014...and SX racing to tide me over the winter.

Damn, I was hoping Nicky would be faster than the Ducatis. I know it's early days, but he's a full second off the Duc pace. Evidently, Nicky is still under Ducati contract until the end of the year, so no interviews until 2014.

Yamaha factory bikes will be more affected by the lower fuel limits for 2014. Perhaps that's the point of the rule change. The Yamahas barely made it across the finish line in a couple of races this year. Further restrictions are uncalled for.
The fuel limit Nazis need to be shown to the door.

He'll be showing the Ducs his tailpiece soon enough.

I doubt this, seriously. How many times have we heard riders say it's about the (factory) electronics?

He's about 6/10's off his Q4 pace from Saturday, not too bad for early days on a brand new bike. By way of comparison, Cal is 1 second off his Q4 pace.

Since tomorrow may be rainy, that's a bummer and lost time. Then we have to wait until February for more bikes on track.

Nick spent five years learning how to ride the Duc TT. Now he has to unlearn all that, and relearn how to ride a bike that operates the way it is supposed to. Patience grasshoppers.

You must remember Doug, most motorcycle racing fans are a fickle lot. One day of testing and Hayden's doomed to be behind the Ducatis all season.

Seeing how the factory Hondas like to be ridden, if this customer version is anything like that, it should suit Nicky well.

If anything, at least he's not riding a turnip truck no more.

I agree.

Nick did not look comfortable on the bike. Both he and, even more so, Redding, look positively huge on the little RC, which always looks sizable with Pedrosa and MM on board.

All will play out. I hope Aspar is planning to do the Jerez test at the end of the month. Not sure HRC has enough bikes for them yet, though.
