Not getting rid off - just putting it on the shelf when I get the thumper and Triumph cuz I will be too busy playing, adjusting, spending money on upgrades, etc.

The Ride West bike swap is Saturday... and they have a tasty looking trumpet on the floor as of last night... funny thing is that it's got this retro yellow yamaha racing paint job!

Ahhh, good. I was starting to think I was the only one riding a big pig any more.

Remember, everyone is not an expert, just me.

Stosh, if your thinking about buying a DRZ let me know before you go and maybe we can get a dealer to put a deal together on a sale of two out the door. I've been working with a guy over at Aurora and he seems real responsive and on top of this thing. I'm working on the aproval from the boss for the new ride as we speak.

Well - then I may just have to go to Aurora and snoop around. What is your guys name and what Thumper are you thumping him on?

Chaise is the guys name, he owns one also. DRZ 400S of corse, unless one comes up used and is newer than 2002.

Sport-touring is the ticket! If only they would update the VFR! The 1300 Honda is just a little too gold-wingish for my taste.
9fiddy...have you ridden one? The seat is easily replaced. But that's okay, I can appreciate wanting something that "looks" sporty even if the 950 would spank it's ass everywhere except the straights.

1300 Honda does nothing for my senses. Too bad BMW is inching closer to that look with the 1200RT.

And I could spank a 950 in the twisties and tight-trails on the DRZ400SM.... nothing beats a SM for the tight stuff....

Sport Tourer is what I want though. I checked out the 950 and 640 KTM's in detail. I love them but they arent what I want.
