Idaho Singletrack Rides

The thread title says it all. Post up any ride invites, ride reports, etcetera.

I'll start. Saturday we will be heading through Weiser about 7:30-7:45 to go explore some singletrack in the Council area. Figure to be at the trailhead about 8:30-8:45. Come out to play. If you are planning on showing up I will tell you more. I might also throw my tent in the rig and camp Saturday night and ride some more Sunday morning.

You have been officially invited. Yes even you...........

Wish I could make it. I've got 3 fish screen projects out there I could check in on. One out in Bear, and a couple out on the East Fork of the Weiser River outside Council. I got lost once trying to Bear from north of Council up over the mountains. Never listen to the locals

Picking up a 2012 wr250r this afternoon to do more of this kind of stuff.

I was thinking a 300 might be the ticket. I'm not sure trailrider would be willing to help get the 950 back on the trail if I happened to miss a corner.

Screens? Laduke, are you with FCA? I've heard about the one on the EF Weiser and wanted to check it out sometime.

Here's a couple ride videos from a couple weekends ago. One was posted in Boise This Weekend, so may have seen already. Three of us headed up the Boise River, past Arrowrock Dam to camp out at Cottonwood CG. When we pulled into the CG Saturday am, it was full of Boy Scouts. Thought we were going to have to find another, but luck shined on as they were packing up to leave. Had the place to all to our selves! Unpacked the bikes and headed up MF Road passed Slide Gulch Road 5 or 6 miles or so to try the William Pogue National Recreation Trail (#122). Looked good on the map. Turned onto Corral Creek Trail (#129) and rode a ways in planning to loop around but ran into issues and turned around. Then we ran over Slide Gulch to run Corral Cr from the south to north. So, here's vids of the trails. They are long, skip through to get an idea.

First one: William Pogue to Corral to turn around. Skip to 3:15 and 9:45 and watch each for a minute go get a glimpse of the good stuff.

Same trail, but back out from turn around. Skip up to about 9:00 to see the same as 9:45 in the prior, but just going the other way. Hot chikkies at 20:15.

Here is Corral Creek from south to north up to the summit.

Filming rider on '06 KLX250 (351). Other riders on XR250, KLX300.
