How do you keep the cops from sniffing you out?

http://rideapart.com/2013/11/ways-to...der-the-radar/

Rideapart just published this interesting article. I've been practicing some of these for a long time with great success. Are there any others you do?

For example:

I will only do "burst speed" in other words, pick a speed you want to do get to it and slow way back down to the speed limit. Kind of like Fartlek (speed play) in running or jogging. Fatlek, still makes me smile every time.

What are your strategies?

I'm also an avid hunter. Bathe regularly with unscented soap and shampoo... Many Harley riders have problems with this, you can often sniff them out from hundreds of yards if the wind is right.

Any cop worth his ticket book can smell a half bag of donuts inside a hundred pound bag of coffee beans...

Seriously, all good tips! Except the one about riding in a "pack", that's not a good idea for us motorcyclists IMO. I know on the freeway, cagers seem to drive in clumps, I like to find the speed/position where I'm between the clumps, but still not driving so fast I attract LEO's attention. Sometimes that's a "little" over the limit, but hey, if most cagers are doing it, I don't stand out.

If you happen to have a thermos of hot coffee and an extra cup, you may get an escort to the county line.

Hey man, none of that Mexican taco language here! Next thing you know it'll take over like wildfire and they'll be people asking how to properly pack beans, and what the correct bribing amount is to los federales. all in Mexican

Ride an old bike, they won't look twice at you unless you're really breaking some traffic laws. They're out prowling for squids and drunken pirates, not someone wearing full gear on an antique motorcycle.

Yeah, that is a good one. I'm generally ATGATT, and it's never really flashy stuff, you know like a full Brand name racing gear like Repsol or something similar. Thanks.
