Check with Tasky's in Everett. 425-252-2295. Jeff is closing up shop, but might still be doing inspection work.

Always sad to see another shop close. Hope someone else with the passion buys it and keeps the doors open. Best of luck to Jeff in his new direction!!

Had my 200 XCW inspected at Skagit Powersports. Took about 15 minutes and cost $100.
There is a licensing bureau 1-2 miles down the road on Burlington Blvd to take the paper work and get all the licensing done. Worked out well.

Skagit polaris is supposed to be a good place. Highly recommended by a great friend.

Different business owners taking varying approaches to legal compliance and exposure to liability.

It is important that they understand that there are anti-ORV members of the Legislature that are hoping to find a pattern of noncompliance to use as a basis for changing the law back and revoking the plates issued based on inspections done by noncompliant businesses.

I was just talking about lights .

How would they test brakes other then grab the lever or push the pedal and see it they work. ??.
They can look at the tires and see the DOT#, they can see the DOT # on the lights etc .by doing all that it really should not take more 15-20 minutes.
Only the factories might be able to check braking force, the dealer has to assume the factories already did that and his job is just to see if they are still working ..

I'm interested in this too so lets keep on topic

To Recap
Skagit Powersports - Yes
Taskys - Out of Business
Seattle Cycle Center - Maybe (They do not cater to dirt bikes, so I would be surprised if they offer this service)

Anything in the Renton/Kent/Auburn area?
