I'm very interested in this ride. Do you have room for one more, or are you full? Thanks

Not sure we set a limit. I've heard anything over 6-7 people gets a little difficult to manage. Not sure how many people we have right now that are confirmed.
Maybe we should get a tally.
So I'm definitely going. That's one.

Jim and his wife, so that's three.

Who else is confirmed as going?

I won't know how solid my commitment is until we get a lot closer but as of now I'm in for a good part of it.

As Rick said, my wife and I are in. I think there are a couple of folks whose schedules are sketchy right now. We never set a cap on group size, but I agree that too many in one group could be difficult to keep track of. That being said...I also think that if the number gets too big for one group, we could split into smaller groups and just meet up as a whole at certain waypoints and at night for camping....

Just a thought. I'm a virgin to this ride , so I'm open to suggestions/guidance.

Jim

Sorry you can't go man. Maybe a plan needs to happen to do a shorter version of this ride early Summer....... I was thinking of doing route 3 out and back to do some gear testing.

Speaking of ride reports, have we decided on who will do the official documentation of this ride? I'm not a good photographer, nor a good story teller....

Got my rack mounted and a power plug wired in tonight. I have a dry bag, saddle panniers, saddle horn panniers and a top bag left over from my horse packing days I can use if I don't get more/better gear before then. An air pump is getting to the top of the acquisition list pretty quick.

Just received hand guards for the TW and subframe supports for the XR! Time for installation! Next on the hardware list is a skid plate for the TW...
