I can't say yet. Partially depends on my wife. She fully intends to come along on the trip, but she returns from a week long out of state business trip that Friday night. She will likely want to spend a couple of nights at home before the trip...

If she's game for leaving early, or if something happens and she doesn't go on the ride, then I/we might meet up on Sunday.

Sorry guys but count me out. My work schedule has become hectic as of late. I do still plan on making this trip this summer but I will have to plan it with a weekend and closer to 4-5 days so I only miss 3 days of work. It will most likley be earleir in the summer at this point.

Im seriously interested, been on the OBCDR twice by myself and had a great time, second trip had its moments though. The timing works about right and if I could join in the fun that would be great.

Section 4, when? In a few weeks? I am going to be over there the 22nd through the 27th. I might be into it.

Doggitter might be game for that. I'm not sure I could do it that soon. I'll let you know if I can though...

Was thinking of doing the Crooked River gig, but may be talked into an over-nighter on section 4 instead.
Need to start getting my whole rig figured out for multiple nights out anyway.

I dunno for sure about this year, but getting through snow in the high passes of Route 4 are usually completely impossible this early in the year. I have tried the last 3 years, coming home from each years' Crooked River gig (April 1st-ish), and never got even 25 miles North of Prineville every year before being snowed out.

This is the main reason why I had no plans to do this ride until at least July. I was thinking mid to late July. But I do plan on doing a couple overnights in the lower elevations before then. Maybe a couple fishing trips off the bike. I belong to a fishing club where we have private lake and stream access so if anyone is into fishing and wants to go, let me know. I can camp at each place also.

Late July sounds good to me. I'm game for lower elevation overnighters too. Pitch some dates and I'll see what I can work out!
