I drove a 2013 GT last week, it was a solid, great sexy car, the 2015 looks like a jello mould, bland and uninspiring.

Considering the vast majority of these will be sold as 3rd or 4th cars to 55+ year-old dudes who will spend more time eye-fucking them in the garage than out driving them, I don't see that it matters too much...

Someone will also be along shortly to remind us that these get much better mileage than the truck or SUV these dudes drive everyday, so really, what's the harm...

I get your point but the only way to bring something "changed" to market, at least radically changed, is to create a new name/car based on an existing platform. For instance, way back when the FoMoCo blessed us with the Mercury Cougar Eliminator. A nicely gussied up Mustang.

I'd love a new Mustang. The 2015 best have an additional 15-20 horsepower in base model or they'll lose market share based on people needing the top numbered car in its class.
