I have Auburn 42-38 in my pick'em.

I think that's more wishful thinking (do not want the clown college to win one) than reality though. It'll probably end up being a defensive struggle.

Hey now! Besides, the college is in Venice...not on the Riviera.

Pheh - don't worry about that. I'll be disappointed but as a longstanding Auburn guy, I'm kind of used to disappointment. I hate to say it but....it's only a football game.

Here's the Auburn creed - good words that I've tried to live by:

THE AUBURN CREED

I believe that this is a practical world and that I can count only on what I earn. Therefore, I believe in work, hard work.

I believe in education, which gives me the knowledge to work wisely and trains my mind and my hands to work skillfully.

I believe in honesty and truthfulness, without which I cannot win the respect and confidence of my fellow men.

I believe in a sound mind, in a sound body and a spirit that is not afraid, and in clean sports that develop these qualities.

I believe in obedience to law because it protects the rights of all.

I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.

I believe in my Country, because it is a land of freedom and because it is my own home, and that I can best serve that country by "doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with my God."

And because Auburn men and women believe in these things, I believe in Auburn and love it.

Maybe - I don't recall any extensive reporting but it seems to me that he lacked the ability to maintain discipline over the players. Seems to have changed for the better though 'eh? The current coach is absolutely on-target with the team and they've signed up for his methods.

I have it 41-30 Florida State.

But I am 100% sure this will be wrong. FSt is favored by 10. Seems like in Bowl games a chip on the shoulder can matter the most. I'd say that 10 would be very could reason to piss Auburn off.

Coming up to the half it's looking like Auburn didn't get that memo.

Thanks.

I'm glad I wasn't able to get online during the stretch; I probably would have changed some.

THANKS Jurgs, for hosting.
