out

Unfortunately too many other things are pressing right now. Have fun everyone. Don't be afraid of the weather. Ten minutes ago it was snowing and now its sunny. Hasn't rained on this side enough to be real muddy. You may find some snow up high though.

I have been debating what I should do, so I looked into the crystal ball for advice.

Probably not happening soon.
Forecast shows 20-34" of snow through Saturday for Mt Bachelor.
It's been snow then sun then snow then sun then snow then sun here in Bend this morning. Nothing sticking to the roads and it's always warmer/drier NE of here.

The webcams show Redmond area looking really nice right now. Weather forecast calling for mid fifties for the next few days-------Hmmmm !
The Pass is getting better by the minute. On the other hand would hate to go all the way over there and be the Lone Ranger.

Come on riders-----Any takers ?

In. Got the ok a few days ago, hope to be there early enough Fri for a ride. But since I got the aux light temp wired early isn't much of a problem.

Wet Desert? In!
I'd definitely rather ride in rain/snow on the east side than rain/fog over here. The only pass I have to deal with is 140 past Lake of the Woods, which should be easy-peasy.
Leaving tomorrow morning. Probably going to 'splore around China Hat Road if it's possible, then grab some fire wood and head over to Crooked River.

Wet desert is right! Once you've driven oven the passes (I say drive, unless you're crazy enough to ride over in the snow) you'll be rewarded with some of the best conditions possible over here!

I'm headed out later today. Snow in the passes has never slowed me down much.

well,, if I saddled up and rode east right now,, I'd probably be able to catch up to that deluge that just washed over my shop headed that way!
Weatherman says "showers" on and off today,,if that last one was a "shower", then I'd hate to get hit by real rain!
When I was growing up we called them a downpour, not a 'shower'.

guess I'll wait a while,,

I'd be there now if I could....
but I WILL be there Friday evening for sure.
Riding in from The Dalles way, down 197,
... to skip possible snow on Hwy 26 over the Hood.

I was going to haul on the back of the Ram, but if someone wants I can take the trailer and haul more bikes. 15' so there's extra room.
