The gathering is at Red Mountain Motel and RV park. Most people who were camping seemed to be there in the lower field. I think the cost was about $20/night for campers, which does get you showers, etc. It was convenient to be camped close after socializing late with liquids.

The late night socialization is what I was worried about. Thanks for the info. :)

So a few things have come in so far....

4 Large boxes from ICON:

They stepped up and gave us these for Rally Bags:

Pretty much Helmet Bags, very nice ones....so unless we surpass 240 riders showing up, you should have a very nice Helmet bag.

Also Strider sent out two balance bikes to be auctioned off

Mark is at it again.....connecting with companies and vendors to provide great auction items and door prizes.

Everyone remember....when you purchase an auction item, 100% of it goes to keeping our trails open!!!!

what the hell

might be getting over my head as far as my offroad riding ability goes but what the hell, this sounds like a great event. the ride to get there will be worth it. i booked a cabin , i think I'm in # 7. i snore at night when i drink so i hope that cabin # 6 and # 8 are far enough away, there will be drinking.

looking to ride with big bikes with little offroad experience .
maybe on my 950 but probably on one of the old Hondas ( AFRICA TWIN 750 ).

see you in july

North Rider,

This is the ideal event for you and riders like you. We run this event so you can meet up with other riders who were recently just like you. Lots of guys are looking for a new adventure, but are sorta afraid to take that dual sport too deep into some place where you can't get back. At the Rendezvous, you'll be able join up with other riders and go out on some explorations of the area. But unlike when you're alone, you'll have some help if you get in a jam.

Just come with an open mind for adventure and you'll have a great time!!

what kind of bike? What type of trails? Honestly, if you are doing a big ride, you will probably be in or near other mountain towns unless you are riding a plated motocross bike with a tiny tank.
