New to the Rendezvous

This looks like a great event. I'm really interested in joining. My son and I have plans to ride CO this summer. He is on a WR250R, I'm on a T800XC. The timing of this event may work out perfectly for us. A few questions...

1. Is there a concern about 'selling out' either registration or camp sites?
2. My son is a relatively new rider, are there moderate to easy routes? (come to think of it...I'm an old guy and in no need of more excitement than I can handle).
3. How organized are the riding groups?

Thanks
Tim

Sweet, exactly what I needed to know; thanks. It looks like I can just show up and camp amongst you fellers.

I attended this event last year with a bud who was pretty new at off-road riding. There are routes that can be ridden by everything from newbs to hard-core experienced single-track riders. The area lends itself to a wide variety of riding experiences and you'll find roads/trails/routes that are suitable for small-bore bikes and big ADV bikes. Go for it and feel free to stretch your your limits when it comes to riding experiences. There is a spirit of camaraderie among the riders and everyone on the rides is always willing to help you get through the tough parts.

Just one word of caution: DON'T believe Modette when he posts his ride difficulty level as "MODERATE"..

When modette says "Moderate", he is referring to the amount of brain matter you must have left in your skull in order to make it back to camp intact. Just reset your expectations and a modette mystery ride can give you stories to tell your grandchildren

I've registered one of two riders... Cab I ask why your website won't allow me to pay for more than one person at once? Or, am I missing something here...

Yes, I'm working on a solution. For now, the payment page is limited to one item per purchase.

Everyone remember that the RMAR Rendezvous supports the Colorado Off-Highway Vehicle Coalition.
