Hello all, I'm new to ADVrider. I've been hiking, motorcycle riding - pavement, bicycling every which way across the Ozarks for the last 7 years. I have every paved road memorized and worn, thus I'm here at your site seeking new adventures and opportunities. I've been past Byrd's countless times yet never had a reason to stop or stay. I've yet to endulge in a two wheeled dirt purchase as I'm shopping options. That being said, I'm eager to attend one of these Slap Rallies as I know how fun the area can be and all the better with a rally.

This brings me to my question. Without having a bike will the Byrd's atv trails be open and available? While procuring a moto ride by May might not be in the plans, the wife and I are interested in attending, bringing along the atv's. I thought maybe while you all were away for the afternoon riding she and I could give the atv's a workout, kayak the Mulberry, hike, etc... yet still meet the group for the social events.

If this is out of the question, let me know. We would welcome the opportunity to attend as we already know how fun the area is and what great people there are to meet.

Ok, lets be twisted. I'd like to attend in order to show her why "we need" a new motorcycle. Thanks!

Seeing you joined ADV in April 2013, I presume you have lurked enough to realize you will encounter a large number of twisted, tact-impaired FF's at the rally??
If so, bring it on, you'll have fun. Byrds is a big place and there were lots of non-ADV folks messing around on 4 wheelers while we were there, so I am sure it will be the same again this year.

PS: Protect your scotch, Scribe likes to mix his with Diet Coke....

I may be in!

It didn't work out for me last year! So I'm gonna give it a go this year.
If so, it will be me and wife and maybe granddaughter. I'll be pulling the toyhauler with bike and atv. will know more in a day or so.(As always,
it seems that work gets in the way).
QUESTION: Are RV camping fees included with registration fees, or is it seperate?

RV hookups are included in the registration, however there is a limited number available. Register early!!

We could use some sponsors for SLAP 2014. If anyone is interested or has one to suggest, please PM me or Tomski74. Thanks
