Works a treat.

Do you know anything about the sidecar hood Dave?

I've done a few and that looks like one of mine. I did one double hood of that style from memory, but it was on a red one with standard 10" wheel etc.

I have a Goldwing/Hannigan double wide sidecar combo. I also have moved the ball location to under the right side saddlebag, or about 12 inches inboard of the drive tire. I have had no problems dragging my Kwick Kamp popup camping trailer and all my crap around the USA. My sidecar has brakes on it, so it has a little help stopping. I am loaded up pretty heavy at times. JUST TAKE IT EASY, AND DO SOME TRIAL RUNS, EMPTY FIRST, THEN ADD SOME WEIGHT.

Hi Al, sorry for the delay replying to your post.

I had the canopy made done here in Melbourne by Anchor Boat Covers (11 Monaro Close, Wantirna South VIC 3152 (03) 9837 5240) and he did a brilliant job.

Next job for him is to cover the seat and then do an annex for the camper trailer.

Dave.

1000 + miles

We just returned from a 8 day camping trip with the trailer in tow. It was loaded to the gills with camping gear & provisions.

Great camp spot at "Joshua Tree Nat. Park".

Nice desert sunset....

2nd. night out at a Hot Springs just outside of Death Valley...somewhat of a "bleak" camping site......ran into some other riders we knew.

But the view looking towards Death Valley was good....

Old AZ. section of "Route 66"....hard to believe this was once the major highway through here.

The trailer worked great without any issues. A little "squirmy" going into right hand corners but as long as I slowed a bit before entering curves all was well.
Bike ran cooler than before and fuel mileage didn't change a bit.
I think I might get more than 2000 miles out of a back tire now.
I'm running "K-Block" tires all around currently. New rear tire showed little wear after 1000 miles.
