KTM 990/1190 3M Protective Film

Been looking for ways to protect the new bike and ran across this 3M site that sells kits for the big KTMs.

http://www.cleararmour.com.au/ktm-paint-protection.html

Does anyone have a protective film kit for the exposed frame areas near the pegs?

I actually did my tank tonight. At those prices I should be selling them

You can buy the stuff and cut it yourself. But to do it right you need a plotter.

To the the gas tank paint, I just use standard automotive paint protection film (for car hoods) bought a 8" x 6' roll of it for $12 from ebay.

I would just use the spray on film. Easily conforms to any shape and you can peel it off when you're ready.

Nice find. I'll pick up some this weekend as opposed to waiting on eBay.

Thanks!

I put this 3m kit on. I had the same stuff on my s1000RR and it was great. I peeled it off when i sold the bike and every panel was like brand new, no marks, scratches or stone chips. Highly recommended and only $80 USD. Looks like the same kit as the original link for much much less $
