Yeah! It's distracting us from the water pump, fuel pump, and clutch slave threads, damn it!

No, its too easy now, why complicate things

As soon as its split you will find yourself checking all of them out and after awhile you will think, man it sure would be easier if they had all of them combined.

+1...it's true.

Also, please consider splitting off the "KTM vs BMW" and "What Charley and Ewan REALLY wanted to Ride" threads.

I'd vote on JOIN! Let's join the GS boxer thread with OC! That'd be the ultimate fun!:)

There seems to be soooo many small issues with the 1190 that its taking over completely. split it

The forum wouldn't look half as bad if a certain 950 member wasn't putting up the same picture of his 950 SE in every 1190 thread he could find last night.

The forum would'nt look have as bad if some of the duplicated 1190 threads were merged.

i.e 2013 1190 - 2014 1190, they are the same, apart from sorting(hopefully) the crappy airbox issue.

Post your 1190 pics on a goat track...FFS, is that the start of 55 different picture threads, 1190 by a road, 1190 by a river, 1190 by a house, 1190 by a coffee bar etc.. etc..

Perhaps an OC split should be

1190
990/950
690/640
Adventure travel/lifestyle/pictures (where all post any non tech stuff) Except there are already other area's on ADV for that.

I find it hypocritical that a bunch of you are complaining about a split because of too many new threads but many of the same people jump into those threads and try to fuel the fire (that you think exists) between 1190 and older models. Speaking for myself, I know how great of a bike the 950/990 is. But jumping into another thread spreading BS complaints about how one is better than another has gotten really boring and unecessary. It has gone way beyond some friendly "ribbing".

The decision has been made by the admins and I hope this crap will stop and we can go on and learn stuff from each other.

I highly respect the older bikes and I hope that you real motorcyclists can appreciate some of the new ones. I know my friends and myself do. And if you don't, that's ok. There are a lot of other douchebag riders out there besides yourselves.

And I'd like to add that this has been the whiniest group of children on any forum ive been on in the last 20 years (yes, including BBS boards). People are excited about their new bikes and you old farts just want to rag on them out of what? Jelousy? Its sad. I thought the older demographic of this forum was a good thing, but Ive changed my mind. I'll go back to forums where people help and encourage each other.
