I went once and was poopoo'ed for drinking a beer. Didn't go back. I'd give it another try for sure though.

You musta sat at the wrong table....Sit at the old folks table, next to me

Have to say...you are really not missing a lot. Small handful of hard core riders....lot's of noobs and want to be's.

Fun part is summer with all the bikes in the lot.

We had the whole street parking filled with bikes, one side only.

There is something to shoot for....both sides then round the corner to your place.

Definitely a site to see! Like a microcosm of riding into a MotoGP race. Speaking of which.....who wants to watch the next race at the pub? Assuming its not at 2am....

"who wants to watch the next race at the pub?"

Now were taking...That would be a hell ya.

Have traveled to Laguna Seca via M/C and 101/ PCH 1 multi times.

Camped out at the track fun way to go.

A bud came down late cause of work one year, found my bike and tent, put his leathers and skid lid in my tent. Thought I got into the wrong tent when I saw his gear....WTH ? ? ? Remember that one Al?

Toss up on which is more fun, riding or watching.

Had a conflict with The BlackDog Dual Sport and Laguna GP one year.

Did the BackDog and watched the GP live at the lunch break in a bar munching burgers east of Hood.....Woot!

You got a DVD player hooked up at your bar.? ?...I got the Isle of Mann...local Jimmy Moore featured. Maybe he is still about! Bet he would join us for a beer.

Signed DVD copy of Chris Carr Boniville speed record too.

I worked with Jimmy's wife. They recently moved back to Alaska to be near family. Last I heard Jimmy was here trying to sell their house, but that was 2 months ago. He's probably up north by now. I did a track day with him at PIR once (he was the instructor). I thought I was on it, full tuck going down the front straight outta turn 9 on my RC51. That's when he wheelied past me at about 110

I bought one of Jimmy's Dirt bikes. A KTM EXC 300 a friend (Sean S.) of mine had who worked with him in Corvallis. I had a XR400 and wanted to get back on a 2 stroke. Sean was working for G&G and wanted to sell Jimmy's old bike that he had. I took it out for a test ride and went with some buds. One bud was riding a KTM 640 with a plate and other ....things.
I was leading on a up hill tight rocky single track trail going slow so as not to bend rims on someone else's bike. The rider on the 640 tried to pass me because he need momentum to make the hill. There was no place to pass me and he ran into the back of me hard e-nuf to turn the back my whole right arm back and blue. The other buds were yelling " I did not see a thing" I figured and felt he hit me hard e-nuf to harm the bike....so I bought my first KTM. Rode Jimmy's bike 2 or 3 seasons , replaced it with a fresh one and now have three KTM's. That bike had some serious use. Zoob was wrenching on it, some carb work.

The hole that the float bowl pivots on was worn into the shape of a slot.

Oh yeah!

What the hell am I doing in this thread anyway, I'm 1700 miles away.

BUT... the best one of many D got-ya's was when I overtook you south of Yachats on the outside of a tight righthander, thought you were gonna mess your leathers!

And what was the name of that woman who I freaked out at the cabin when I came back caked in blood and dirt from my faceplant into a lava rock pile? Will never forget the look on her face when I looked up and said "Hi!"

And yes, I did ride today, and gonna ride some more soon as I get outta this deadthread!

Back norte in a few weeks.

Yep! I remember the Yahats fly by. I also remember you saying back then if you saw someone in a full set of leathers in Oregon you would know who it was. Yep, you knew me then, and I retired those shorts.

Tried to put my best poker face on after your lave pile face plant. You did not even get you hands off the bars. Direct hit, with a open face skid lid.
Game over for that B's weekend at the cabin. (bikes, babes, bullets, beer, booze....) still took me two runs to make the hill you did in one back to the cabin...

Last time we rode dirt, my bike hung up in a tree, ripped my new tool bag right off me, and bent my rear sub frame, and rang my bell e-nuf that I did not want to ride anymore that day....that takes a lot....

Jimmy going to help you out this year again with your PSSR track days, or is he really going North to Alaska?

Now to get my Brownsville road ride in before the rain comes in today. Got a dang good loop to show you when you get back. Water hole at Brownsville Saloon.

Have to add a note on the lave pile face plant.

I remember checking the damage on your forehead, patting the blood and dirt back in place, like a mud pie.

Latter that day at the hospital they found and removed some bone material that was not needed any more

Good times
