Yeah - welcome to the group! Can't wait to ride sometime. Two chickenhearted...er...I mean...cautious...riders! Come again soon.

Bucket Boy? When did you change that? No wonder I couldn't find you when you left. I didn't know you heard of my knick name for you. Come by next Tuesday night and tell everyone what you've been up to.

Nice rig, I assume that's an oil burning dodge. I miss having a flatbed. I want to check it out.

Looks like Sunday will be an ideal day for riding on dirt, a little rain Thurs/Fri/Sat then sunny everywhere on Sunday.

Also, the OVM show is coming up soon. May 18.

And, Premier Moto Gear has a swap meet on May 31.

We're now talking about Sunday rather than Saturday - weather's looking better then.

Yes - we're thinking of just riding some of the roads off the back of Mary's Peak. And just FYI - I'm a very beginning rider, so I'll be slow. KillerD is more experienced (and crazier...)

You and KillerD will do great. I'll just hang back and watch the show!

I think you guys need to get your terms straight. When Bucket Boy says 'off road' that doesn't mean off pavement, more like cow tracks.

In Worsening order:
1, Pavement, State Hwy, County roads, single lane forest road.
2. Gravel, multi-track, graded every year.
3. Two Track, has grass growing in center, made by bulldozer or by CCC.
4. Trails, one track, really bad old two track.

I'm planning on an easy, but long, gravel road/two track ride to the coast on Sunday. Meet at 2nd St. Bean (Allan Bros) about 9 am if you're interested. Lunch in Yachats or Newport.

No Gas in Yachats now, closest is Waldport. Gas in Deadwood again. Gas in Alsea too.

Yeah - I thought about that right after I said that. "Hmmm...if the bike isn't street legal, off-road probably means something very different to him than it does to me."

I would be interested in this if you want to meet an unknown from the Internet.
