Saw this parked down the street -

There just has to be a good story behind this - I figured this'd be the place to ask.

Some people don't have problems with additional time on there hands when they retire from their jobs....others ? ? ?

Zub......red duck took a ride to hopefully a new owner last night..in a pick up...with all the boxes o stuff.....trial run for the weekend. He wants to want it, he told me. It did start up for him in my driveway.

Fish on with your Hi O Sung. Money in hand fresh out of the bank, waiting for your return

Post pics if possible so I might live vicariously...Colorado pics would be appreciated, too.

Guess I'll have to get the story over beers - or something. That's the proper way to tell (and hear!) a story anyway!
Hoping to get to one of them ds gatherings soon - I'm still fixing, painting, and cleaning our house here in Colorado , but all our shit and, most importantly, MY BIKE is in Corvallis. Along with newly employed renaissanceWoman.

The thought of all that sweet riding out there and my bike just sitting in the garage while I'm here busting my butt... Powerful motivation to be on the road - see you soon!

From last fall - haven't had much saddle time this year - I intend to make up for it soon!

Hey Ctown folks,

Well, I haven't been through Corvallis on a Tuesday since that one night a few months ago when I crashed your Flat Tail night, but I did have my bike stolen last night in Bend. Please keep your eyes peeled for a wayward beemer...I'd frickin' love to get her back.

Yep - I'm set up for road touring - actually, the vast majority of my miles are commuting, which is a damnable poor way to wear out tires! I expect I need to upgrade my suspension, too.
But even better would be to buy a proper bike for the task. Cheaper than trying to make my rotax-powered mule a true off-road biased DS machine. Maybe next year - for now I think I'll be satisfied getting to know my way around on some of those twisty coastal range roads :)

You can wear your road tires out on the local paved logging road.. They will not go to waste.
Yea on another bike as a rain rig. That one looks to shiny.

Too bad someone ripped your bike.
Don't see a lot of those, might be easy to spot.
If you need another one sort of like that one, soon, drop Zub a line.

Much obliged guys. Looks like riding season is over for me at least until insurance (hopefully) comes through. Shenanigans.

Here's my new/improved Stolen flier. Sigh.
