2013 was a great year for epic rides with lots of photos!

Wow! What a year it’s been for me, having the most amazing experiences on my motorcycles. Now that the season is over, and the holidays are upon us, as I look back I’m feeling especially grateful for how much fun I’ve had on two wheels in 2013.

Here are some of the highlights:

It started pretty early, when I was able to take a nice 100 mile ride in mid-February. Cold, but scenic and fun!

In early April I decided to take a big trip I’d been wanting to do for years, touring the spectacular terrain in southern Utah. Absolutely epic! One of my favorite rides ever.

In early June my buddy Tommy and I did a really fun touring ride into eastern and central Oregon. We found some amazing, fun, grippy and twisty roads!

At the end of July, I needed a quick getaway, so I decided to ride a 750 mile weekend loop on some of my regional favorite roads, including Lolo Pass. Fantastic ride!

In September I did another regional loop, this time about 800 miles or so, up through Hells Canyon into eastern Oregon. More amazing roads and fun on the incredible Multistrada!

A little later in October, I was able to take a quick “Fall Colors” tour on a 150 mile loop from my house here in Idaho. Really blessed to live in such a beautiful place, with such nice motorcycling opportunities.

inally, the first weekend of November, I was able to take a fun and fast (and cold!) ride into eastern Oregon once again.

Easy to see why I’m feeling so thankful! I was able to see some beautiful places, hang out and ride with some of my best friends, take some photos, and have the thrill of high speed fun, again and again. Rode thousands of miles in all sorts of different conditions, and best of all – no crashing and no tickets! :)

2013 was definitely one of my best motorcycling seasons ever, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Can't wait to see where the bike will take me in 2014.

Many recognizable roads and great photos! It was a good riding year, but then I've never had a bad one.

Thanks! Sometimes it's the iPhone 5S, but most of these were with the Canon 5D Mark III, with a few different lenses.

2013 WAS Good

I had a couple great trips this year. In August, I flew to Germany, where a friend and I loaded two bikes onto his pick up truck and went up to Norway.
Here are a couple pix from this Magical land.

Back in May of 2013, some friends came over from England. We rode a couple of my BMWs down to join friends in North Carolina for a big (45-50 bikes) Vintage BritBike ride. My 74 Norton was trucked down by another friend.
