Dirt R1100GS

For those who knows it, there is a gravel road to reach the "col de la bonnette" in the south french Alpes, but sometime it is more a dirt track...

In hindsight i'll avoid off-roading with the coolers on the back ... adds too much weight ... though I've had the "MotoMule" off-road for some great riding and it handles admirably considering it's size.

Its hard finding dirt mid summer in the Diablo Range in Cali. Feeble addition to some very dirty bikes:

But nevermind the bikes, they say the air in Clear Creek is worse! h20pumper and I were prepared:

Preparation-H is everything, or so they say.

Hey, meat pop!

How are you healing? Did get your bike back from the central valley yet?

Heya,

Healing up, slowly of course... Another month or more on crutches and who knows about the "ghosts" in my head from the concussion sense of smell (and taste) still screwed

Parts for the bike are on order, work authorized. I told them no hurry (if they have other work) since I won't be ready for a spell. Hope that shop is OK...
