Need Advice On PEI

My wife and I will be taking a trip to Prince Edward Island sometime this year.
We will be camping.
Any input on a nice campsite with a water view in one of the Provincial Parks would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Red Point Provincial Park on the east coast was very nice.
Lots of private campgrounds near the water around the island as well.
I have fond memories of the Moonlight campground near Cap Egmont
(forced by aliens to eat grotesques creatures and drink biologically altered beverages)

Read about it at the bottom of this post in my Maritime report:

Good to hear about Red Point.
I plan to get a reservation there and then we'll go over to Cedar Dunes Provincial Park and explore the west side of the island.

Linkletter & Cavendish

Both were decent campgrounds.

Cavendish has a nice beach if swimming is your thing. I remember the campground being very crowded. Many people from Quebec, so brush up on your french.

PEI is great!

Will you be spending any time in Nova Scotia?

Lots of good campgrounds around the coast. Just pick one. Cavendish is the busiest area of the Island with Green Gables, the beach and the touristy stuff.
English is the only language but you'll find lots of French and Asian visitors around the area.
A few days is enough and try to take in some of NS. Cross the bridge going there and the Wood Island ferry on the east coming off.

You don't pay to get on the Island but you will to leave.
