He still gets to keep the millions in endorsements and stuff that he got from winning. How do you keep score?

Feh, perhaps he is just sick of the bullshit. And Tygart is just depeleting his resources while trying to defend himself against tests he passed, hundreds of times, with his silly organization. It is proof of nothing that Lance said enough; and it is all hearsay evidence. If someone steps forward and says I administered it to him; other than that, it is wildass speculation by some f'ing puss lawyer.

No story at 11 NICO (childish response by the way)
The story I read at APnews just looks like a busybody agency had an ax to grind with Armstrong. The man passed numerous drug tests during his winning streak prior to his retirement. Armstrong gives them a big FUCK YOU I ain't playing your game and they give him a bigger FUCK YOU right back. Just kind of sad this can happen to an inspirational athlete especially after the guy has retired.

Not only was Lance tested heavily, he was investigated repeatedly throughout his career. Each time the result was the same...not enough evidence. I don't blame him one damn bit for not wanting to face USADA's hearing/farce. An organization taking on a case that the best investigators this country has to offer recently dropped, smells of a witch hunt. |

If somebody spent a decade yelling "I don't believe you" at me, despite my best efforts, I'd probably give up trying too.

I personally think Lance Armstrong showed extraordianary forbearance in tolerating their bullshit all these years, and I blame him not at all for tell them that the would be be happy if he hung 'em with a NEW rope.
You go Lance. They aught to require, MANDATE that these governing bodies be made up exclusively of people who have actually participated and WON many races, rather than losers who went into managment as their way to authority. And yea, USADA is not a court of law, so their 'authority' is bullshit anyway except in their own minds.

This. The USADA is nothing but a kangaroo court that puts on show trials. While they are at it, why don't they nullify every Superbowl Championship and World Series for the last 30 years? After all, those are American events played in the USA by teams of steroid freaks. There's an interesting article in a recent issue of Outside magazine about how the USADA is stripping amateur competitors of wins in little local triathlons and bicycle races because of cold/allergy medicine. Its getting beyond ridiculous. Glad I don't race anymore. Not worth the hassle.

It'll all come out one way or another ... I'm not sure why else Johan would step aside and sit out the Tour, or why former teammates would bow out of the Olympics, or why 10 other yet-to-be-named cyclists were willing to testify at the arbitration hearings. And then there were the little matters of a $250k donation to the UCI in the way of blood test equipment, and $450K to a certain Dr. Ferrari ... hmmm ...
As for "500 tests"? Complete B.S. ... nowhere near that number. For example, http://www.usada.org/athlete-test-history "Never failed a test" is another way of saying "never got caught". Oh wait, nevermind ... it's just a "witch hunt" ... ![]() This is only the beginning ...
