I bumped into you in Packwood a while back when I was out riding with Tom on his NX250 and you were nearing the end of some weeks-long ride. You seemed like a solid guy to ride with, and this sounds like a fun road and fun area. I'm going to stick the dates on my calendar and see how things pan out when they're closer.

Solid?
Now dontcha go spreading rumours!

That was 2011. I'll never forget the HELL that we had juat come from after knocking that hole in the bottom of my motor, and I'll never forget the look on Tom's face after he hugged me and said...."you stink" Yeah, it had been a few days since my last shower. Tom had just painted that yellow, and I thought he got a new bike! You were both headed up Bethell Ridge, as I recall. I finally rode that two Summers ago, taking WABDR down from Wenatchee. LOVED all those rocks coming up from Nile.

You do want to come to this. The Barlow Road is fun, but these hooligans that're coming are more fun. Jungle Man, whom shared that 3-week moto-camping trip with me, will be there also. Now we just need Tom to come help "preride" for the Rally in the Gorge

Now that I know this isn't blocked by my buddy's wedding, I'm going to try very hard to make it! Last year was a riot! Night ride was awesome and borderline panic inducing for noobs trying to keep up!

My wife just acquired her first bike (never been on a dirt bike before!), so this should make a great intro to overnighting for her before our OBDR trip later in the summer!

I'll pass on the liver and onions, but will be looking forward to some of the other camp meals you guys throw together! Let me know what I can bring to aid in group meals!

Oh BOY!

Well laid claim to the 28th thru the 2nd off. Should not be a problem. Long as all is well with wife/baby I should make it. 5th little rascal on the way so been busy. Not sure if I will ride down or truck it again. Will have to see how suspension works and used motor runs. Still trying to get it put together.

Routes

I probably won't have time for a scenic route from HR to camp. I am planning the scenic route from Longview to White Salmon. However any suggestions for the scenic route from HR to camp? In case I have the time? Hwy 35 is scenic, but awful smooth. Anybody going down from the Longview/Vancouver area want to go with? I would not mind some company there and back.

In the pickup, or on the bike?
