How often did you end up using those gas cans on that trip? I know the 650 has a good range. But what about the 1000?

nah, black reflective circles on the Agrisupply tool tubes for the MSR bottles. Works well. Probably saved my behind when the prior owner's rear LED tail light shorted out on a cross-country dash. Wide visuals are good -- nature has hardwired us wee humans to see wide as a danger sign, and consequently, pay attention to it. . ..
