Not mine, but I spotted it today at the border crossing in TJ. He was riding past our SUV on the sidewalk.

AdvScoot!

I just ADVified my SHAD topcase!
It can carry a lot more stuff now.

Excuse the non-ADV front shot, I just thought it turned out cool:

How to Apply ADV decals

Hi. I lost my instructions on how to apply. Do I really need to get rubbing alcohol? Can someone tell me the simple steps to apply them?

Thanks!

Just clean the place where you want to put the sticker and stick it on.

I can see that you're the anxious type, so -

1) You can just swipe the dust off with your hand and the sticker will stick pretty well, but may start to peel after a month or two.
2) If you use clear water wipe - and let dry thouroughly - it'll be a bit better.
3) If you use a little detergent dish washing liquid, like Dawn - and let dry - it gets much better.
4) If you do #3 and follow up with an isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol w/o water) wipe down you've got the last little bit - mostly because the alcohol dries the surface (takes in the water, then evaporates quickly).

I've done both #3 and #4 to apply stickers that are still there a year or so later.

PS: make sure your hands are clean and not oily when you go to stick the sticker - that oil will contaminate things more than any left over stuff on the surface.
