D100 event

Am I understanding this right: If I ride in on roached shoes with fresh ones on board, there will be a vendor who can put them on there?

Yup... or you could just buy a fresh set at the event. Kenda tires are on sale since they sponsored the event.

It sounds like we are going to have a great turnout for the ADV class.
I hear of a few guys coming up from cal and a bunch more 990 riders from BC.

Im really happy to see that, hopefully everyone has a safe trip and is ready to turn it up it sunday morning

Rain in the forecast, so conditions should be great.

Tires at Desert 100

How many pennies do you think a front knobby (21inch) would go for from the Kenda booth?

Is it like the movies, where once they have you in the doors they bend you over a barrell for a bowl of popcorn and a coke?

Or, would it be cheaper than buying here in town?

Anybody know?

Should be a pretty good price.

I ordered a Kenda K270 for the rear of my KTM 690 from Webb Powerstports. They'll have a booth there and he has the same price that motorcycle superstore had on sale. I paid $85 for the K270 rear (18" wheel and their widest tire, 5 inch IIRC).

He said it was $30 to install if you bring the bike to them, cheaper if you take the tire off.

I'm in. Hauler is loaded and ready. Leaving early tomorrow. Planning on doing the dual sport ride Saturday for sure. Got fresh TCKs on the big gir. Currious to see how they hold up.

Got a few buddies with plated medium sized bikes. Bringing the 300 just incase...

So who finished and who wiped out?

I had an spill and mushed up my rear break pedal so bad that I couldn't finish.

I only made it 19 miles, but the course seemed MUCH more technical than the Ironman run last year. Good times though!
