Mods vs Rockers

I would like some info on this venue in Chicago,,,,,Im downstate would like to know best places to stay...best transportation option etc....Thanks Mark

If it's in the same location as last year, transportation will be easy from the hotels in the Loop - it's right next to the Lawrence Ave. station on the Red Line. If you're riding, it's an easy, scenic ride north from the Loop on Lake Shore Drive, but I don't know how they'd handle parking a bike around there.

A cheaper option (in both senses of the word) that's more convenient for riding up might be the motels along Lincoln Ave - they're fairly close to the event, and are the old school "motor lodge" type places where you park in front of your room and the door leads outside.
