Animal? I wasn't the one hefting that shiny big gem around.

Today was rainy off and on till about 3 or so, west over Sheffler, over Fisk to 36, over Prairie Mtn saddle, out Fall CReek past Harlan. Coming into Toledo is about where the last mist/shower hit us I think. The DR putted to a stop just before the gas station there, empty except for the slosh in the second side of the tank. 105+/- miles. Transfered from the spare can tied on the back to get to the station. Fish and Chips in Newport, topped back off in Waldport again since we were looking for clear gas and didn't see it right off. Up Yachats River Rd. onto some assfault with quite a bit of gotcha! green so going was slow in the shade and back down Indian Cr. Paul showed the power of 3 men muscling that heavy bike on all those rough roads with nary a word of lament. The big thumper Tim was on was pretty much babying along all day with us two in tow. I was without High beam and thought the fog of my visor was from my wiping dust/mud off, ran 35ish miles with it open.

I get just under 245 miles round trip for today. Add 40 and 50 from Friday and yesterday to round out the weekend and 2600 since Valetines day purchase. (putting the mileage here more for my note keeping).

Oh man! I'll bet there's a bunch of good riding out around Prairie Mtn! I'll have to drag the XRL down South for a day or two some time this summer!

We stopped up on top for a bit since neither of them had been there, wasted effort with the serious fog and mist.

Wasted effort?

Practicing how to jump from the slip face rock to the runoff ruts and out, up hill and then down hill is not a waste...

North, West, South, East, and North. In that order. Don't worthy about details beyond that, make it as you go. Just do it.

Got a couple light brackets made up finally so I booted the bent bar temporary one. Need to add the second and decide my wiring layout now.

^Lights look good Loren.

I got out for a ride with a co-worker of mine this afternoon. We had a fun time but found it's still blocked by snow up on 18-something, didn't make it to Oakridge as planned.

My thoughts on this...

Still? Thought it'd be mostly melted off by now. At least your ride was tons more interesting than my assfault blast.
