Here's a pic of my '64 Honda CL72, recently acquired in a package deal along with a '66 Benelli Sprite. I really wanted the Sprite since it was my first bike back in '72, but the CL is growing on me (I had one of those too). The CL72 has a CL77 motor, that has a tach drive, so most likely a CB head. It's missing a bunch of stuff and had sat under a pine tree for 10 years. I'd love to restore it (after the Benelli) but I'm just not sure if it's really worth the trouble and expense...

Yes, it is in sad shape, but there's not many of them around. If it's titled it still may be a worthy restoration. Average price range for restored is around 4500, but it may take some time to find the parts. Good luck!

Here's a couple more from my collection.

A 1968 Honda SS125A

And it's counterpart, the Scrambler version called a CL125A
This pic was before the overlay sprocket was removed and chain guard put back on

No title either. It's been sitting for 40 years total - since before titles were required. The previous owner who's been dead 33 years probably never had it registered anyway.

I didn't start riding motorcycles until I was introduced to them by my wife's family.

My first bike was a 1967 CL125. Followed by a CB350Four

Here's one I dragged out of the barn and got running again. I've posted it a couple times before, but it seems appropriate here. It's best seen from this distance

1964 c105 Trail 55

That's a great photo of your C105T. At first I was wondering if that was snow, but seeing you're from ND, it has to be.
I've ridden 64' trail 55 in some snow too, fun little bike for sure.
Here's a shot of mine after plowing through some snow.

And a closer view of the right side as well

Also have an original '62 C105T with the original "peashooter" exhaust system. Honda discontinued them in April of '63 because the engine would stall out when going across a deep stream. But I'm looking for another "peashooter" for my 61 C100T, if anybody has one, please PM me!

Another from the old slide archives. My dad at the 1966 Cologne motorcycle show.
They have been making those Honda 50s for a while!

ROBBERST: I also have a C105 and was wondering, do you know if a leg shield fits on this bike? i really like the look of those but I don't know if they're a perfect fit.

Awesome pic of your dad! Those were often called "Monkey Bikes" which came out in '61. IIRC the model was a CZ100. I saw a '63 and '64 model of this bike sell in Las Vegas at the Mid America auction for $17,000 and $11,500 this past January. Couldn't have cost much over 200 back then. Wish I had a couple now
