What kind of GPS are you using? Running on batteries? If so, remove the battery cover and wrap the batteries with a wrap or 2 of electrical tap, or put a small piece of thin cardboard on top of the batteries. Make sure the cover is real snug on the batteries.

Edit. I see you are using a 76xx. Pretty tough unit. I think the battery trick will work for you. If hard wired, good luck.

When you get to San Ignacio, on the south side of the plaza in front of the Mission is an ice cream shop. Ask if Edison is around, his parents own the ice cream shop. Edison is a VERY cool kid who has the world's greatest collection of racing jerseys and team tee shirts. Great ice cream too!

OldXR, the left turn before the rancho in the sand was the route. Too bad Martin was not there to point you in the right direction, like he did for me.

Like MKJ said, stuff some shit around the batteries to keep them locked in place. It only takes a millisecond of a battery losing contact and...
Hopefully that's all it is.

Enjoying your RR, keep it up

Jenn-actually the temps were perfect-kind of like the SF bay area. You are putting off a lot of body heat riding these roads.About the gps-its a Garmin 76cx.Hard wired to the bike with no batteries inside. The next day my electrics went down and I found a busted wire at a bullit connector.Got it fixed but ther gps still kicks off if I rev the bike up.I have a dedicted power and ground running from a custom built lithium battery. After I get the bike re-prepped I will have to run the gps around town. The Honda xrr ignition is separate from all other electrical on the bike.
