Well John, As a rider and a "human repair technician" i've spent a great deal of time advocating testing for scooter riders. Maybe it is because of where i worked. Maybe it's becase i've repaired thousands of needless injuries.

I've stated my reasons elsewhere in this new forum. You guys have touched a subject i feel very strongly about. I guarantee I will remain a fixture in this forum for some time to come. If one person thinks twice and doesn't crash because of a gimp post then I've done well.

I understand your concern, but you come across as more concerned for your workload than as caring about the welfare of the riding public.

I might recommend that you back off on your attacks upon the very thing that bring us into this forum. If you don't like scooters, stay out. If you continue on this course, you will not be here long in any instance.

My workload is made up (an alarming percentage) of the riding public.

As stated previously I am offering an opinion based on years of experience. The subject (scooters) is one I feel very strongly about. Whether my experience is positive or negative should be irrelivant.

Are you saying my informed and respectful opinion is not welcome here?

Am i entitled to respond to careless posts? Like those made by Rider, John and others? Both of whom in this forums short life have expressed joy in being out of control on scooters? Rider being so out of control he "almost went over the bars"!

Maybe time to consider why I have responed in the manner i have? If these people want to post about messing around on a scooter I see no harm in pointing out the ramifications. There haven't been too many posts here, but many have been about "how much trouble" posters are able to get into on scooters.

Precedent has already been established in this area in the case of Dr. ABS Brake and the case of the faulty GS brakes. He felt extremely strongly about GS brake problems and has been allowed to make his case in one thread. Over and over agin - in persuasive detail.

Blasting each and every thread with the same opinion (outside of Jo Momma) is not acceptable.

You've got your soapbox. Build a compelling case there.

I will no longer blast opinion. I will politely ask questions in response to others posts. This is what a forum is for isn't it?

If you decide to discuss your out of control riding i will ask you some questions. I am not going to post any opinion (as my opinion of scooters is now known). I will only post fact, or ask questions of posters.

You've said you hate scooters. You've said they're unsafe and contribute a disproportionate number of "customers" to your "service." We got that. So, instead of backing off, feeling threatened, blasting every thread, etc., you've got a platform.

Go hog-wild in Death. And why you're more likely to be dead on a scoot. Post stats. Useful information. Other relevant stuff. Build a compelling case. Maybe, somebody will engage you or learn something that just might change their mind about scooting. And, if they do, you can consider this a victory.

Sound like a plan?
