Ok...I'm in!

Step 1: Acquire Motorcycle...

Mike Komer checks it out:

Ready for the long haul home:

Dwarfed by the Gingundo Austrian machine:

I haven't ridden it yet...not even at The Tryals Shop. Going to wait for green grass (or maybe just grass) for the maiden voyage.

Be careful you might end up like me and not ride your other bike as much any more...

I am sure you will have a great time!

And welcome to the dark side.

A good friend will take you trail riding, an ADV friend will double back and say, "how did you get down there?"

I really miss my Montesa. Like to get me another trials machine if this economy ever turns around.

Sell one BMW and you can buy a replacement and a trials bike with some left over!

Reminds me of when I tossed my one-year-old R1150GS for a lowly 2003 KLR650. Lots of money left over for farkling. And I still have that same KLR, many years later.

It stopped snowing and blowing enough today for me to take a tentative first ride out a long ice covered drive way and up and down the road...slowly.

This is the weirdest thing I've ever ridden! Learning curve: Vertical!

I had ridden dirt and street bike for....40+ years and thought I would jump on this little bike and have it mastered. How hard could it be??? The first ride after about 5 minutes of playing around I wanted to go over a rock. Just a small rock about a foot high and maybe 2 feet across. So I rode right up to it, cracked open the gas and pulled up on the bars. Next thing I know I am flat on my back wondering WTF happened and the bike is 10 feet away. Then I realized that this may be different than riding a dirt bike. I really did not not like it much......took another 3-4 rides before I started to have fun. That was 1 1/2 years ago and I am hooked. Stick with it and you'll soon be hooked too.
