Dammit Honda!

Why did you have to saddle the NC series with this abomination. That's just great. Now there's another thing for everyone to snicker at besides them being "scooters" and kissing cousins to bizarro forward control cruiser...things.

They are going to make DN-01's whether the entire world hates them or not, come hell or high water.

Give it a rest already!

I thought the Big Rucki were great machines and full of neato ideas that matched their practicality.
This is for sure verse two of the same song.

I'd move this thread to Scooters so we don't have to look at it, but someone else will start another thread, again and again..

If I was 68 years old and had titanium hips, I'd buy one.

Beats a mobility scooter.

I think it looks kind of cool especially for a scooter. To me it looks like a concept vehicle more than a production one.

Best regards,
I love what Honda is doing. It's certainly hard to accuse them of lacking creativity and being a copycat company.

I can't think of anything constructive to say about the thing other than I'd need to put some miles on one to check out the handling, suspension, braking, roll-on power, etc. Did Honda publish any good reasons why someone should buy one?

I kind of like the idea of the passenger seat doubling as a backrest on a feet forward type of bike. As an aside BMW did the same thing on their cruisers.

That said, for once I'm ok with Europe getting a bike we don't.

It appears they have a similar Vision to Victory as far as the MC's styling future goes just it looks a lot faster.

They have a platform. They can try stuff on the cheap. At least it's not the 100,000th retro throwback I have seen this year.

Seems it was designed by young people. The old farts are all pissed. Good to see that happening again finally.

Honda is a big company. We make every kind of motorcycle. It’s great that sometimes we make a certain machine simply because we can and because we want to, not because we 'should'
Sounds like a big F^&*(K you from Honda to me. The bitching and moaning about Honda will continue regardless, so they do what they want occasionally. Maybe this bike will actually be a very good "lightweight" full sized touring machine.

I don't expect the old folks from the west to get the manga style inspiration. Be interesting to see how the younger Japanese buyer responds. Maybe it's aerodynamic as well. Not much point pissing all the old farts off if it doesn't actually achieve anything practical though.
