KLR650 My worst crash to date

This was my worst crash yet on my KLR650. Lost control, went in the air, high sided, bike flipped. It was awesome. Good news for you is I got it on film. Check it out.

Hit the mud, got sideways, hit a bump, went into the air sideways, landed sideways, high side.

In the slow mo you can really see how much the fairing jerks to the right (indicating that the rear wheel was trying to pass you on the left). You attempt to steer left to keep your line, but that just caused the front wheel to dig in and completely stop the bike.

You should double check the rear suspension.
If it's set up wrong (improper sag, set for heavier rider) then the rear will jump around a lot more on you.

I'm wondering why the video is on "youtu.be", rather than "youtube.com"? Just wondering.

Ah! (Edit here).... "It is common for popular websites to grab other domain names and point it towards their site. Still, you should be vigilant about phishing through impersonation of a popular site. After the page loads, you should check the address. Even if you typed in youtu.be, it would still say youtube.com in the address bar after the page loads.".

It did go to youtube.com, but I didn't click on the posted link because it wasn't 'right'.

Learned something here. Youtu.be totally looks like a scam, but isn't.

Maybe for NJ. If youre gonna off-road (with all the $ and + risks), gotta have some nice whoops, hillsides or views. Dull terrain = speeding.

youtu.be is a a short url that is generated by youtube when you upload a video. It's actually the first link they give you for sharing a video. I didn't even think about it "making people nervous." I'll keep that in mind in the future thanks.

Oh it's definitely set up wrong. It's stock and I weigh 155lbs... maybe 165-170 with my gear on. I don't think there is any getting it right without replacing it.
