Is this safe, picture thread. No debates one sentence replies . Riding issues only.

Rule 1 Riding issues only.
Rule 3 Post pictures of what you perceive to be unsafe.
Rule 2 see rule 1
Here we go a 2fer

My opinion is there is all kinds of fail in this picture. The 990 Baja is barely touching his tennis shoes on the ground.
Rider 2 in addition to being a tool ( he was in TJ's in Austin loudly telling anyone in the nearby area who he knew) was wearing dress shoes with Jeans, a good helmet and jacket, but he had his BBD girlfriend on the back in a skimpy T shirt jeans and tennis shoes. the munchkin on the Baja asked if I wanted to take his "ride" for spin.

The impending collision with that white crossover thingy is going to be very unsafe.

Oh dear. Looks like we have another "I must be able to flat foot it" Nazi.

I see 3 helmets. Their odds of survival are greater than most people in my area.

who cares about how they dress, the only thing I see wrong is the bike in front is stopped beyond the stop line

I wish I could, I bangs my knee up pretty bad a couple days ago (slipped and fell on an icy rock in the woods) and taking meds what would be considered intoxicants

dress can sometimes become more relevant when your sliding down the road with 200kg of motorbike up ya plug hole, but more particularly, who wears a red top on a white 990, I mean really, there's just no dress sense there at all

Second Photo to get this thread going:

  • The rider is wearing work gloves rather than riding gloves, which won't offer the best grip on the handlebars.
  • His hat, being backwards, will not do anything to keep the smoke out of his eyes.
  • That's all I can think of.

if his hat was on the other way round the head light would be less affective

It's rather refreshing to see a Honda Mini Trail being used for it's intended purposes. No doubt Mr. Soichiro Honda would be very proud.

I think it's pretty obvious that this guy is a talented and thoughtful rider. I believe that he's got his program mostly under control. I'm calling bullshit on any target fixation issues ........ although from his facial expression, it appears he may be close to puking. Maybe it's extreme concentration?

But under the circumstances, that doesn't matter.

He's getting a 9.5 from the CO judge! Well done!

And kudos to the photographer. Nice drunken nighttime action shot!
